Itinerary of Golden Triangle Tour with Pushkar

Day 1: Delhi sightseeing and transfer to Agra

The tour representative will pick you up from Indira Gandhi International Airport or any other chosen spot in the capital. From here you will proceed for the sightseeing tour of the capital. Visit various spots in the city like Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate, President House, and Lotus Temple. After the sightseeing tour of Delhi, you will leave for Agra in a private A/C vehicle. Once you reach Agra city you will check- into a good hotel near the Taj. Overnight stay is in Agra. 

Day 2: Agra sightseeing and transfer to Jaipur

Early in the morning, you will proceed with a Govt approved tour guide for the sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. This beauty in white marble will simply leave you awestruck. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal ruler Shah Jahan in memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. Return to the hotel for breakfast and after that, you can check out. Visit another well-known monument in Agra- Agra Fort. After seeing Agra Fort you can leave for Jaipur. On the way stop at Fatehpur Sikri. This city is in ruins now but even the ruins give you an idea of its bygone grandeur and magnificence. Once you reach Jaipur check into your preferred hotel. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 3: Local Sightseeing in Jaipur

There are so many interesting places to see in Jaipur. Start your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Amer Fort. This fort built by Raja Man Singh offers a bird’s eye view of the entire Jaipur city. It is huge so carry your bottled water along. Then visit other tourist attractions in Jaipur like the royal observatory- Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, and City Palace. Jaipur has beautiful colourful bazaars. Enjoy some shopping in these bazaars. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur to Pushkar (150 Kms)

In the morning, post breakfast you will leave for Pushkar. This is the only place in the world where can see Lord Brahma Temple. It will take around 2 hrs and 30 minutes to reach Pushkar. In Pushkar, you will check into a hotel of your choice. The day is at leisure. Visit the annual Pushkar fair which is like an experience in itself. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Pushkar.

Day 5: Pushkar sightseeing

In the morning again you will step out to visit the Pushkar fair. There are so many activities that are being carried out at the fair such as tug of war, camel ride, elephant ride, etc. After that, visit the Temple of Lord Brahma which has a distinctive red spire and walls that are laid with silver coins. Then take a dip at any of the 52 ghats at Pushkar Lake. Overnight stay is in Pushkar.

Day 6: Pushkar to New Delhi by car

In the morning leave for Delhi. It is a long journey of around 6 hrs. Once you reach Delhi you can check into the hotel of your choice or leave for the airport to catch a flight for your onward destination.
