The Golden Triangle 3-day tour promises a mind-blowing experience of the rich culture and heritage of our country. This tour spans 2 nights and 3 days and offers you an opportunity to see three amazing cities- Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra. The tour starts with sightseeing in Delhi. The tourist gets to visit key tourist hotspots in the city such as Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Humayun’s Tomb. Post Delhi, you visit Agra which is one of the most visited tourist places in India.
Itinerary of Golden Triangle Tour of 2 nights 3 days
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi and transfer to Agra
The tour driver will pick you up from the chosen spot in the capital if you are reaching Delhi from somewhere else then you will be picked up from the airport or the railway station. Immediately, you will proceed to visit key tourist places in Delhi such as JamaMasjid, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutab Minar. You can also drive past tourist places such as India Gate, Parliament House, etc. After that, you will be taken to Agra. The distance between Delhi and Agra is not much and you will be in Agra city in about 3 hours. Overnight stay is in a hotel in Agra.
Day 2: Agra to Jaipur
In the morning you will proceed for the sunrise view of the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is a wonderful monument that stands as a testimony of the love of Shahjahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is akin to a dream in ivory-white marble. It is one of the main reasons why tourists from far and wide come to Agra. This lovely monument will without a doubt leave you awestruck with its beauty. After the Taj Mahal, you will proceed to visit Agra Fort. This brilliant red sandstone monument was a strong foothold of the Mughals. You can also visit other tourist attractions such as Mehtab Bagh, and Tomb of Itimad-ud Daulah. In the evening you will leave for Jaipur. Overnight stay is in Jaipur.
Day 3: Jaipur to Delhi
Today you will start with sightseeing quite early. Visit Amer Fort which is a brilliant fort located on a hilltop. It offers a beautiful view of the city. Other places worth visiting in Jaipur are the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar. You can also do some souvenir shopping in the multi-hued bazaars of Jaipur. Some of the things that you can buy in Jaipur are gemstones, tie and dye fabric, etc.
Leave for Delhi after lunch. If you avoid traffic, you’ll reach Delhi on time. The distance between Delhi and Jaipur can be covered in 5 hours. The journey is comfortable and convenient. Upon reaching Delhi, you will transfer to the airport to catch your flight to your onward destination.
