Itinerary of Exotic Taj Mahal Tour with Fatehpur Sikri

06:00 AM Pick-up from the hotel

The tour driver will pick you on time from your designated spot in the capital. You will be taken to New Delhi Railway Station where you will board Shatabdi Express for Agra. Breakfast will be served on board and the journey is very convenient. In less than 2 hours you will be in Agra. It is mandatory to carry your e- tickets and any valid ID proof such as Passport, Adhaar Card, etc. Once you reach Agra Cantt railway station the Govt approved tour guide will be there to receive you. He/ she will take you for an exciting Taj Mahal sightseeing tour.

08:30 AM Visit Taj Mahal

Agra sightseeing commences from a visit to the Taj Mahal. This brilliantly beautiful monument located on the banks of Yamuna is a dream in pristine white marble. The unparalleled beauty and flawless beauty of the Taj Mahal will leave you spellbound. In fact, Taj has been listed amongst Seven Wonders of the World. It is closed for public viewing on Fridays. The tour guide will tell you all the amazing details behind the monument, how was it built, stories surrounding it, etc.

12:00 PM Visit Agra Fort

Once you are done seeing the Taj, you will be taken to Agra Fort. This red sandstone fort is spread across an area of 94 acres. It is a brilliant monument that has a museum containing several artifacts of Mughal past.

02:00 PM Lunch Break

After visit to Agra Fort, you can have a scrumptious lunch at any good place in Agra. There are several nice eating joints where you get amazing Mughlai food. You can even dine at a 5-star restaurant in case you want a lavish buffet spread.

03:30 PM Visit Fatehpur Sikri

After lunch, you will be taken to Fathepur Sikri in a private vehicle. Here you can visit Buland Darwaza and Tomb of Salim Chisti who was a popular Sufi saint. The city is in ruins now, nut the ruins also give an idea of bygone splendor and power of Mughal ruler Akbar

07:00 PM Leave for the railway station

Now you will head back to Agra railway station in a prepaid vehicle so that you are on time for your train. In case there is still time, you can do some shopping in the local bazaars. Food will be provided to you on board. Once you are in Delhi, the tour driver will pick you up from the railway station and drop you at the chosen spot in Delhi.
