Itinerary of Exotic Taj Mahal Sunrise Tour

02:30 AM Pick up from the hotel or the airport

The tour representative will be there to pick you from your designated destination in the capital. From here you will be transferred to Agra city in a prepaid private A/C vehicle. The journey just takes 3 to 4 hours and you will be in Agra before sunrise. Yamuna Express Highway connects both the cities and the journey is extremely comfortable and convenient.

06:00 AM Arrival in Agra and proceed to see Taj Mahal

 Once you reach Agra the tour representative will be there to receive you. You will immediately proceed for a sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Shahjahan built it in memory of his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal who dies while giving birth to his child. Taj Mahal is not open for public viewing on Fridays.  You must go to the mausoleum also. It is recommended that you must keep the phone on silent while you visit the monument.

08:30 AM Visit Agra Fort

Once you are done with seeing the Taj Mahal, the Govt approved tour guide will take you to see another amazing monument- Agra Fort. Agra Fort which was the prime residence of Mughal kings till they shifted base to Delhi. It was built by well-known Mughal ruler Akbar way back in 1565. This red sandstone houses a huge museum that contains several items of the ancient era.

10:00 AM Visit Tomb of Itimad- ud Daulah

After Agra Fort, you will be taken to Tomb of Itimad- ud Daulah. Also, known as jewel box this mausoleum was built by Nur Jehan. It is regarded as a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

01:00 PM Lunch break indulge in some shopping

Now, you must visit a well -known 5-star hotel in Agra for a nice lavish lunch. Enjoy several Mughlai and other local delicacies. Rest for a brief period and then you can proceed for some shopping.

02:30 PM Indulge in some shopping

After lunch, you can do some souvenirs shopping in the local bazaars of Agra. Buy a replica of the Taj Mahal and gift it to your near and dear ones as a memory from this wonderful trip.

03:30 PM Leave back for Delhi
