Itinerary

Day 1 – Departure from Delhi

The tour driver will pick you up from the Airport, Railway Station or from your hotel in Delhi or Gurugram at 7 AM. In a private A/C sedan/SUV you will leave for Jaipur. The distance between Jaipur and Delhi is 261 km and with comfortable traffic and weather conditions you will enter Jaipur in less than 5 hours. Jaipur is all aboutroyalRajasthani culture and beautiful Rajputanaheritage. Jaipur is full of stories of Maharajas and Maharanis and forts and palaces. You will get a feel of the same as soon as you enter into Jaipur. Rajasthani hospitality is simply out of this world.

12:00 AM – Visit City Palace

Once you reach Jaipur you will check into a beautiful heritage property. Once you are done with the check-in process you will immediately leave to visit one of the most beautiful palaces in the world – The City Palace. Part of the palace has been turned into a heritage museum. City Palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. It is a huge palace complex comprising of picturesque lawns, courtyards, etc. In one part of the palace the descendants of the royal family still stay.

01:00 PM – Lunch at Hotel Trident

Hotel Trident is part of the prestigious Oberoi group and is well known for its sumptuous food. The food display is lavish. Try the Mughlai delicacies. Once you finish the mouth-watering lunch you will visit Jantar Mantar. The unique design and astronomical instruments present here will make you wonder about the skill and astronomical capabilities of the Rajput Kings. This place is a huge source of learning and knowledge.

03:30 PM – Visit Hawa Mahal

Once you are done with your lunch, you can proceed to see HawaMahal.This lovely pink sandstone structure was built so that the ladies of the royal family could see what is happening on the streets without being seen by anyone. The architecture of this palace is such that it stays cool even during the summer months.

04:30 PM – Time for shopping and walk

Walking through the narrow streets and exotic bazaars of Jaipur is quite amazing. Jaipur is known as the international capital for gems and jewelry. Besides jewelry Jaipur is a shopping paradise for textiles, carpets, and handicrafts.

07:30 PM – Dinner 

Enjoy a lovely dinner of Rajasthani cuisine at a good and safe local restaurant. You can enjoy some folk dances and music performances. Get Henna applied on your hands. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 2 : Jaipur to Delhi

Today, you will be taken back to Delhi in your private/C vehicle. The tour driver will drop you at your chosen spot in capital or will take you directly to the airport as per your wish.

Visit Amer Fort

The day begins with an early. Have breakfast and check out your hotel to visit the Amer Fort. This is a World Heritage site. Amer or Amber Fort showcases the finest examples of Rajput military architecture. As the fort is located on top of the hill, you will get a view of the whole city from here.The construction of the fort was started by Raja Man Singh in the 16th century and the construction was completed by Sawai Jai Singh in the 18th Century.

Visit Nahargarh Fort

Nahargarh Fort is another must-visit spot in the city. This fort is also a symbol of the valor and strength of the Rajput rulers.

 Visit Jal Mahal

After Nahargarh Fort you must proceed to visit Jal Mahal which is a beautiful royal palace known for its intricate carvings.

Shopping at the local bazaar

After seeing Nahargarh Fort, you still can visit the local bazaars for some shopping of souvenirs or whatever you like for your near and dear ones.

Return Back To Delhi

After this you will leave the Pink city for Delhi. The journey is comfortable and easy. This marks the end of you your Exotic JaipurOvernight Tour.

NOTE – Elephant Ride or Jeep ride?

If you are confused about whether to go for an elephant ride or jeep ride at Amer Fort, we will give you an idea. Elephants are not meant to walk on rocky roads. It damages their foot cushion. To go up to the Amber fort there are two options Jeeps or Elephants. As respect and concern to the wildlife conservation we at SAME DAY LUXURY TOURS don’t promote the Elephant Rides!!

Rather we provide comfortable jeep ride to and from the fort. However as a tourist if you insist on the Elephant ride we can certainly provide that.
