Itinerary

06:00 PM – Pick up from Delhi

The tour driver will pick you up from your hotel or airport or where ever you are in Delhi or Gurugram and will take you in a comfortable private A/C SUV/Sedan to Agra. The journey is extremely comfortable and you will be in Agra city before you even realize. You can take a brief halt on the way if you like, for a quick breakfast or some light snack. Alternatively, you can take a fast luxury train that connects to Agra. In such a case the tour driver will drop you at the railway station where you will board the luxury train for Agra.

9:30 AM – Visit Taj Mahal

On reaching Agra, you will straight away leave for the sightseeing tour of the majestic Taj Mahal. This splendor in pristine white marble is a dream. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It was built by Shah Jahan in 1632 in the memory of his beautiful wife MumtazMahal who unfortunately died during the 14^th childbirth. The intricate carvings and beautiful architecture of the Taj Mahal are a delight to the eyes. Even if you are a dry person, the Taj Mahal is sure to evoke a romantic chord in your heart. The monument resonates with tranquility and bliss. Spend some time here and you will come out with a happy and refreshed soul.

1:30 PM – Lunch Time

Once you are done seeing the Taj Mahal you can enjoy a lovely, delicious lunch at a Sheroes cafe. The food is safe and sumptuous. This café is built by acid attack survivors and your visit here is sure to boost their morale.

02:30 PM – Kacchpura Village

After having lunch, you can proceed for a lovely Mughal heritage walk at the nearby Kachhpura village. You will be able to witness the unique village lifestyle here. The culture and tradition in a rural Indian village are simply fascinating.  This village is in close proximity to Agra and so going to and fro is not a problem.

04:00 PM – Visit MehtabBagh

While coming back from Kachhpura you can visit MehtabBagh (the Moon garden). This is a beautiful charbagh complex from where you can see the backside of the Taj Mahal.  It is located across the Yamuna River. It is a wonderful place to click some nice pictures too. 5:00 PM- Return back to Delhi -After seeing all these lovely places you will leave back for Delhi. The driver will either drop you at your chosen place in Delhi or will take you to the airport where you can take a flight for your onward destination.
